Borough Council

Responsibilities

The Council/Manager form of government governs the Borough of Seven Fields. There are five (5) Council Members and a Mayor who are elected by the voters. Terms of office for the Mayor and members of Council are four (4) years.

The Council is vested with legislative powers including establishing municipality policy, enacting local ordinances, adopting the annual budget, establishing the tax rate, hiring staff, and appointing Borough officials.

The Chief Administrative Officer is the Borough Manager who is appointed by Borough Council and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Borough.
